Sometimes life can throw up obstacles or challenges that we can find difficult to cope with or that can set us off track. Sometimes we can find ourselves dealing with long term issues that can continue to impact how we function day to day or affect our ability to see a way forward.
Having a safe and non judgemental space to talk through your concerns can give an opportunity to reframe your past experiences and to offer an increased insight in to where your concerns or behaviours may come from. Having someone to listen to you, hear you and respect you and who will walk alongside you can be a therapeutic experience. Therapy should always be driven by you and as your counsellor I will support you to go at your own pace and in way that works for you.
Often the first steps on the counselling journey can feel like the hardest, and I would welcome an opportunity to take those steps with you.
